Book Visit Now offers a free plan for up to ten active clients, with all app features included and no time limit. Pro costs $24.99 per month and removes the active-client limit, without separate charges for additional providers or locations.
An Apple-native app. Book Visit Now runs on iPhone, iPad, and Mac and supports multiple providers, service locations, and calendar views. It can serve an independent professional or a business where another person manages appointments from an Apple device. It does not offer separate staff accounts or role-based permissions.
Direct appointment communication. The Appointment Notification Center lets you review upcoming appointments and manually send notifications through Apple Messages or email. There is no Book Visit Now message-credit or notification add-on fee, although normal carrier or email-service charges may apply. These are not automated reminders or two-way messaging campaigns. There is an easy to use Notification Center that shows all upcoming appointments and allows quick sending of pre-populated text or email messages that relate to appointment status, confirmation,
Paperwork stored with the client. Scan completed paper intake forms into individual client profiles using your Apple device. Book Visit Now does not offer online forms for clients to fill out themselves.
Keep your existing payment provider. Record services and retail purchases, maintain client histories, and generate PDF invoices in Book Visit Now while accepting payments through a separate system. This is not integrated payment processing.
A free starting point. The free plan includes all app features for up to ten active clients. Pro is $24.99 per month for unlimited active clients. You can cancel the App Store subscription without a fixed-term Book Visit Now contract; after downgrading, existing records remain accessible, subject to the free plan's active-client limit.
Mangomint offers an integrated system for capabilities Book Visit Now does not currently provide, including client online self-booking, integrated payment processing, automated client messaging and marketing, memberships and packages, and dedicated staff accounts and management tools. Book Visit Now also does not provide a consumer marketplace, Android or browser access, a built-in phone system, or payroll. It supports retail product records and sales reporting, but should not be mistaken for a full integrated inventory, payroll, and payments platform.
Mangomint may be a fit if you need customers to book themselves online, want payments and checkout inside your salon software, use automated client communications, sell memberships or packages, or need individual staff logins and team-management workflows.
If your work revolves around scheduled appointments, client records, and direct communication—and you are comfortable processing payments separately—compare those needs with what Book Visit Now includes.
Before changing systems, review your agreement and confirm which client, appointment, and financial records you can export and in what format. Keep a secure copy of your records and verify what can be imported into your new workflow. Apple Contacts can help with contact information, but importing contacts does not automatically transfer Mangomint appointment history or financial records into Book Visit Now.
